Jean Dudley, a longtime resident of Naples, passed away on January 5, 2019 at the young age of 94. Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bob and her daughter Nancy Donielson. Jean is survived by her son Ron (Sabrina), son-in-law Mark, grandchildren Sherry Sievewright (Gary), Tracie Duclos (Jeff), Troy Dudley (Linda), Marla Ward (Bruce), and great grandchildren Chandler, Sydney, Riley, Leah, Hannah, Erin, Sophia, Kyle and Brevan.
Jean was born in Detroit, Michigan where she met and married Bob. They stayed in the Detroit area and raised their children. Jean was active in charitable organizations, bowling leagues and the Rosedale Park Players. She enjoyed sewing and entertaining in style.
In 1966, Jean & Bob moved to Birmingham, Michigan and in the mid 1970’s made their home in Brighton, Michigan. There they enjoyed golf, travel and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
Jean & Bob were snowbirds for over 10 years spending time on Marco Island, Florida where they enjoyed golf, boating, bridge and parties with their friends. In 1993, Jean & Bob moved to Naples, Florida and became permanent residents. Jean continued to golf, play bridge, boat and entertain friends and family. Jean enjoyed attending Lely Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir.
In 2008, Jean lost her beloved husband of over 60 years. She then met Ken Bailey with whom she spent her remaining years sharing laughter, love and companionship.
Jean will be dearly missed by all who knew her, both family and friends. Church Service will be held at Lely Presbyterian Church on Sunday, January 12th at 10:15 am and a pancake reception in her honor to follow.
