Jenisa Esthela Rodriguez

Ms. Jenisa Esthela Rodriguez, lovingly known as "Jay" or "Jeni," was a beloved and wonderful daughter, niece, cousin, granddaughter, friend, and girlfriend. Jay got to celebrate 20 great trips around calling Naples, Florida home her entire life lost her battle to COVID-19 on September 2, 2021.

Jay's history begins on October 25, 2000, to Christina Medina in Fort Myers, Florida; her mothers mourn the loss of their daughter. Jay had a spirit and light that touched anyone who knew her and was quickly cherished by all.  She loved her family, friends, art, astrology, and animals more than anything else. She was an exceptional daughter and friend to all those fortunate enough to be in her life.

Jay was a light in a sometimes dark world; she touched the lives of many in her short stay. During her time on earth, she made it a point to always help everyone around her and gave people second chances and the benefit of the doubt without pause. Jay was beautiful, kind, artistic, selfless, cool, clever, funny, challenging, and sassy all at once.

Jenisa loved hanging out with her friends and boyfriend Alex. She loved shopping at crystal shops and was passionately into astrology chart readings, and she loved sharing her results and learnings.  Jeni's exterior matched her soul; she loved wearing the brightest colored clothing available. Most of all, she loved making Pho, her favorite dish.

Along with all of her hobbies and passions, Jay was an avid learner and reader; she pursued a degree in Psychology. Her goal was to get a doctorate and become Dr. Jenisa Rodriguez Ph.D. Psychology so that she could continue her life mission of helping others with counseling

When you think of Jenisa, commemorate the memories you have of her. Remembering she was loving, compassionate, and selfless, regularly putting the needs of others before her own.  Upon first look, you may have thought her shy and quiet but fear not, she had a hidden loud streak and her laugh filled the room.

Jenisa will forever cherish her beautiful life in the lives of her family and friends.  

Memorial Services for Jenisa Esthela Rodriguez will be held at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Rd., Naples, Florida on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 4-7 PM EST.
