Joan L. Scharff

Joan L. Scharff  (nee: Ellsworth) of Naples, Fl. Passed away peacefully on February 8, 2017 after a long illness.

Born February 9, 1934 in Brecksville, Ohio, she spent most of her life there until moving to Naples in 2002.

In Naples she enjoyed spending time with her family, water aerobics and knitting hundreds of baby hats & booties for the newborns at Naples Community Hospital.

She is survived by her 2 sons Edward (Krissa) Scharff of Naples & Robert Scharff of Ft. Meyers, Fl. Joan is also survived by 3 step grandchildren, 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, along with numerous friends. She is predeceased by her loving daughter Sue Ann Perry, and a grandson, Devon Scharff.

A private service will be held in Ohio at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
