Joan P. Snediker

Joan P. Snediker 77, passed away Thursday March 16, after a 7 year battle with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease. Born in Worcester, Mass on March 24, 1945 she lived there and graduated from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY. Joan worked as a Physical Therapist. She met James Snediker and was married to him on October 7, 1972. They were married for 50 years and had two children Doug Snediker of Woodlands, Texas and Beth Snediker of Naples and a step daughter Kathy Abrams of Naples. She is also survived by her brother Edson Phelps of the Villages, Florida and a sister Sally Sofanos of Clearwater, Florida.

Joan and James lived in Hideaway Beach, Marco Island for 23 years where Joan was a very active tennis player becoming the Women’s Club Champion once, she also enjoyed playing golf. Joan and Jim moved to Moorings Park, Naples 5 years ago.
