John Frankis Sr.

On August 29, 2020, John D. Frankis Sr. of Naples, FL passed from this earth to be with his Lord Jesus in heaven at the age of 92.  John leaves behind four children: John Jr., Debbee, Brad, and Marty and their spouses Rita (John), Steve Felter (Debbee), and Lori (Marty), 12 grandchildren: Kelli, Sarah, Mary, Issac, Jordan, Phillip, Jason, Amber, Jacob, Maggie, Emily, and Julie, 17 great-grandchildren: Caleb, Abbey, Emma, Kori, Preston, Emmerson, Ava, Abe, Skylar, Merric, Moiraine, Owen, Emma, Levi, Devin, Hailey, Kaden,  and one great-great grandchild Kyree.  John was preceded in death by his wife of 53 Yrs Ruth (Bowers) Frankis, and brothers George and Robert Frankis. 

John, a native of NY State, settled in Johnson City, NY with his young family of four and started his career in automotive repair and sales.  He transitioned to self-employment in real estate, rental properties, and investments in the early 1970’s and continued in this profession until he retired. 

John’s work ethic, quick wit, sense of humor, wisdom, kindness, and volunteerism made him a joy to be around, a blessing to have as a friend, and an inspiration to his family.  His longevity and endurance are a testament to his character, abilities, and a life well-lived.  We will dearly miss his presence with us here on earth, but are looking forward to seeing him someday in heaven.

Visitation will be held at the Fuller Funeral Home Located at 4735 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, Florida on Sunday, September 6, 2020 between the hours of 9:00 and 11:00 AM. A Memorial Service will follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A private burial will be held afterwards.
