John Michael Callahan

John Michael Callahan (Jack) of Naples, Florida and Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2018 at the age of 89. Jack was grateful for his Catholic faith and proud of his Irish heritage.  His family and friends were the joy of his life. Jack graduated from St. Xavier High School and Xavier University.  He served in the U.S. Navy.

He was founder of Packaging Associates in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jack enjoyed his retirement years in Naples hunting, fishing, and golfing at Hole-in-the-Wall Golf Club.

Jack is survived by his devoted and loving wife Ann Hanlon Callahan; his best friend for 65 years. He leaves beloved children Kathleen Forsey (Bob) of Salt Lake City, John M. Callahan of Marfa, Texas, Anne Casson of Greenwich, Connecticut, and Michael Callahan (Meg) of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was proud of his 9 grandchildren, Patrick Grisley, Michael Grisley, Connal Grisley, Ashley Shaw, John M. Callahan IV, Amanda Callahan, Fiona Casson, Clair Callahan, Michael Callahan. His 4 great grandchildren Saoirse Grisley, Niamh Grisley, William Shaw, and Harris Shaw delighted him.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Naples, Florida. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Cincinnati, Ohio.
