Josephine Wilk

Josephine M. (nee Konicki) Wilk, went home to the Lord on July 26, 2022. Josephine, known as Dolly to all who knew her, was born on May 23, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA to Louis and Josephine (nee Bytof) Konicki. She hasbeen a resident of Naples, FL since 1998.

She is survived by her loving daughter Michel, her granddaughter Emily, and her beloved nephews Reginald McKinstry, Ronald Radzikowski, niece Rita Ann Gumb and lifelong friends Sam & Dot Sheak.

She was preceded in death by her son, LTC David L. Wilk of the US Army Special Forces in 2010 and her husband of 64 years David R. Wilk in 2020.

Dolly held several Executive Assistant positions, her last to the Dean of Academic Studies at Stockton State College, her favorites at CORA and Archbishop Ryan High for Girls.

Dolly graduated from MastBaum Vocational Technical School in 1953 where she was president, cheerleader and voted as Best Dancer. She was a parishioner of

St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church.

Always a people person her Happy Place was at The St. Vincent De Paul Society Thrift Store in Bonita Springs/Naples where she worked as a volunteer 6 days a week for over 15 years.
