Judy L. Gabbard

Judy Gabbard, a wonderful mother, a loving wife and a fantastic person to call a friend, was called to be with God on Tuesday July 10, 2018. She was born on September 5, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio to Don and Hortense Stoner and was a longtime resident of Naples, Florida. She was a charter member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church and had worked as a discipline secretary at Golden Gate Middle School for 24 years before retiring. She was adored for her quick wit and happy disposition by her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her youngest son, Cory Gabbard (2017). She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Mones (Monty) Gabbard, sons Chris (Karen) Thompson of Columbia, SC, Matthew (Sandie) Gabbard of Orlando, Florida, daughter-in-law Carly Gabbard of Naples, and brother Wayne (Connie) Stoner of Columbia, SC. Five grandchildren, Christopher, Dylan, Jessica, Cameron and Caden. Also numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2:00pm, July 21, at Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 8200 Immokalee Rd.,Naples, Fl. 34119. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cornerstone UMC will be appreciated.
