Karl C. Garrard

                Karl Craig Garrard, a long-time resident of Naples, Florida, but most recently Estero, Florida, died suddenly of natural causes, in his home on June 18th, 2021 at the age of 68.

                Karl is survived by his son Karl E. Garrard (daughter-in-law Micaela Garrard); daughter Kristy Short (son-in-law Eric Short); siblings, Karen McGlynn, Janet Brand, Jeffrey Garrard and Judy Dyehouse; and granddaughter Haleigh Garrard; He is predeceased by his wife Roberta (Sobocinski) Garrard and his parents Karl S. Garrard and Norine (Craig) Garrard.

                Karl was born on April 29th, 1953 in Elyria, Ohio. He was a devoted husband, father, uncle, grandfather and really loved his pets. In his earlier years he enjoyed bracket racing and then became a hard-working lead mechanic at Bob Taylor Chevrolet, as well as, opening his own repair shop in Naples for side jobs before retiring. He continued to be an avid car enthusiast, whether it was working on his own vehicles or race cars, going to car shows and watching all things racing.

Karl was kind and compassionate, and touched the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.

He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
