Kay Gallagher Hansen age 78. Born and raised in SW Philadelphia.
She attended St. Francis de Sales grade school and West Catholic high School in Philadelphia
Predeceased by her husband Kenneth Hansen to whom she was married to for 32 years, also survived by her stepchildren Louise and Erik Hansen.
Kay was one of twelve children and is survived by her siblings Eileen, Carol, Edward, Connie and Steven Gallagher.
She was Aunt Kay to 29 nieces and nephews, and beloved grandmother to seven grandchildren.
She enjoyed spending her retirement years in both Long Beach Island, NJ and Naples, FL.
Kay made countless friends in both communities. She had a profound impact on her large extended family and was often times the glue that held the groups together.
Kay will be remembered by those who knew her best as a fierce card player, compassionate friend, wonderful listener, doting grandmother and fun loving spirit.
