Kurt Schabbel

With heartfelt sorrow the family of Kurt Schabbel announces the passing of husband, father and grandfather, Sunday, September 2,     2018 at Avow Hospice.  He was 79 years of age.  Kurt was born in Dornbirn, Austria and moved to the United States when he was eleven years old. He lived in Pt. Pleasant, and Wall NJ. Kurt owned an excavating company in NJ for 31 years and moved to Naples 28 years ago upon retiring. He served in the Marine Corps and was a proud veteran.

He is pre-deceased by his loving son, Kory Kevin. He is survived by wife of 55 years, Karen; his son, Kurt Thomas, daughter-in-law Tina, two grandchildren, Zachary Kurt and Brandon Andrew, and sister Lisa Eisterer.

Funeral mass will be held Monday, September 10, 2018 at St. Agnes Catholic Church located at 7775 Vanderbilt Beach Road, Naples, Fl 34120 at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel.
