Laura Ann Galioto passed away on June 15, 2022 after being diagnosed with a rare aggressive cancer in May.
Born in Glen Ridge NJ, Laura moved to Naples Florida in 1994. She graduated with a BA in Graphic Design from Flagler College in St Augustine FL where she lived with Mary Budd and met her best friend Jamie Converse. Laura lived her dream in New York City for four years with college friend Caitlin Brown. She did graphic design for International Real Estate companies.
Laura was most recently employed at the office of Internist, Dr. Michal Shahla. She truly loved working for her favorite doctor and helping all of the patients there. Dr. Shahla was more than her employer. After the cancer diagnosis he fought every day for her and put together the best team of physicians trying to save her.
Laura was lucky enough to travel with Esteban Arias and family to Egypt where she rode camels in the desert and went into the pyramids. On the same trip she went to Israel and Jordan. Also with the Arias family went to Mexico and Atlantis.
Anyone that met Laura fell in love with her gentle spirit, sense of humor and beautiful smile.
Laura leaves behind her mother, Jeanne (Pico) Carnes, and Dad, Dale (Jobie) Carnes. Loving Brother, Christopher (Mickey) Dulik and sister-in-law and friend, Kellie. Loving Sister, Tara Galioto Knisely and husband David. Nephews Landon Dulik and JD Knisely and niece Sebbie Knisely
Also her loving Uncle An, Auntie Reg, cousins Amy and Adam.
She also leaves behind her four best lifelong friends Jamie Converse, Caitlin Brown Estban Arias and Mary Budd Hemrick.
Also leaves behind dear friend Lucie (Sis) Etienne and her entire family.
A memorial service is to be announced.
