Louanne Cooper Jackson

Louanne Cooper Jackson, 79, of Naples, Florida, died peacefully Wednesday, April 20th, 2022 at  Avow Hospice House, surrounded by her family and friends. She was known as a loving and devoted wife and mother, beloved Nana to her four grandsons and a dear friend to many.

Louanne is survived by her husband, Franklyn, son, Shayne (Ann Marie) Jackson of Auburn, MA, daughter, Ashley (Chad Salganik) of Rockville, MD and 4 grandsons, Kyle, Zachary, Liam and Connor.

She was born in Muskegon, Michigan, daughter of the late Ernest Cooper and Lavina (Banninga) and stepmother, Marjorie (Sylvis) Cooper.  She is survived by her stepbrother, Donahue B. Silvis and preceded in death by her brothers, Victor Cooper, Fredrick E. Cooper, Robert E. Cooper, and sister, Carol (Jim) Ballard.  

Louanne helped the family establish roots in Michigan, Pennsylvania, London and Chicago. She ultimately found her permanent home with Frank in Naples, Florida when he retired. As a wife and mother, she showed her love by keeping the family organized. While living overseas, she enjoyed seeing the world, frequently exploring the beautiful cities of Europe and made incredible memories with visits to Africa and the Middle East.

Nothing brought a bigger smile to her face than spending time with her grandsons. She cherished their visits and always loved following their adventures as they grew.

Louanne loved socializing with friends, many of whom she had known for decades and from around Europe. 

The family would like to thank the caregivers and nurses who provided care and compassion for her in her final days.
