Madeleine Sophie "Leinie" (Carroll) Martin

Madeleine “Leinie” Martin (Carroll) was born January 6th, 1956 in Boston, MA to the late Alice Carroll (Johnston) and Charles Carroll Jr.

Madeleine was blessed with a loving family. She raised three beautiful children with patience and humility. On March 20th, 1998 she married her best friend and soul mate, Gary Martin in a beautiful ceremony in Naples, Fl. She was an avid animal lover and treated her puppies as if they were her children.

Madeleine passed peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on April 22, 2021 after her courageous cancer battle.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Martin. Children, Mark Mazzaferro, Ashley Smith (Vaill) and Brittany Vaill. Her six grandchildren, which were the light of her life, Isabella, Brielle, Jayce, Madelynn, Faith and Hunter. Her twin brother, Fredrick Carroll, siblings Mark, Elise, and Chip Carroll. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Madeleine will be sadly missed by all that knew her. She left an impactful impression on everyone she came in contact with.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday April 28th from 12:00pm - 2:00pm at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples. A service will follow. Celebration of life will be held following the service at 3:30 at The Club at Old Cypress, 7165 Treeline Drive, Naples.
