Peggy Rozzi, born in 1941, in Endicott, NY, passed away on July 23rd after a long battle with cancer. Peggy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Sam Rozzi, as well as her sons, Michael, Kenneth and Sam Jr. and his wife Shea. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Tony, Angelica, Kayleigh, Rayven, Cameron and Reagan; two great grandchildren, Bella and Theo and by her brother Tom Mc Williams. Peggy was predeceased by her son Thomas and her sister Judy Mayer.
Peggy graduated from the State University of New York at Alfred with an A.B. degree. As a member of Pi Nu Epsilon sorority, she was active in campus affairs and was a varsity cheerleader.
She was a resident of Naples, Florida for 31 years. As an active member of the Classics Country Club as well as The Players Club at Lely, Peggy enjoyed playing golf and cards with her many friends.
Peggy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to all who knew her. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, and she was a wonderful cook and hostess who took great pride in creating a welcoming home.
She touched the lives of many, and will always be in our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date due to the COVID 19 virus.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Margaret Rozzi’s name to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 5130 Rattle Snake hammock Road, Naples, FL 34113.
Services will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church on Thursday, August 6th at 10:00.
