Margery Josephine Bettman

Margery Bettman, of Naples, FL, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2018 at the Arlington of Naples, attended by AVOW Hospice. She was born December 11, 1923 in Peoria, Illinois.

Prior to retiring to Naples in 1984, Margery was a resident of Arlington Heights, Illinois where she taught at South Junior High from 1967-1984. In addtion, she resided and taught in a variety of locations, including Florissant, MO, Mattoon, Peoria, and Jacksonville, IL.

Preceded in death by her husband, August, and son Craig, Margery is survived by her children, Barbara Bettman and Linda Duran, both of Naples, Amy Thorson of Riverview, FL and Brian Bettman also of Naples. Grandchildren include Chief Petty Officer Brendan Duran, US Navy; Justin Thorson, Wade Thorson, Courtney Parham and great-granddaughter, Charleigh Parham.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
