Mary Ann (Young) Errigo

Mary Ann Errigo, 84, of Naples, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021. She was born February 23, 1937 in Sacramento, CA, the daughter of Glenn & Catherine Young (née Braun) Young.

After attending Chico State University for two years and working at the phone company, Mary Ann set her sights on the glamorous life of a commercial airline stewardess. She moved to New York and worked at United Airlines, based at LaGuardia Airport. After a time, she met her husband to be Robert Errigo, was married, and began having children. As her four children grew up in the New York area, Mary Ann finished her college degree at Marymount College in Tarrytown N.Y. She spent several years working at Westchester Federal Savings Bank of New Rochelle N.Y., where she trained bank tellers and clerks.

Mrs. Errigo is survived by her four beloved children, Glenn (Irina) Errigo of Reston, VA, Robert P. (Maria Price) Errigo of Naples, FL, Catherine Genestra of Rock Hill, NY and Elizabeth Errigo of Naples, FL; her brothers, Bill and Thomas Young and seven cherished grandchildren, Alexis, Dylan, Connor, Madeleine, Haley, Michael and Grace.

Mr. and Mrs. Errigo relocated from N.Y. to Naples Fla. In the mid 1990’s, living in the Vineyards community for 25 years.
