I loved hearing Sharla's Dad tell stories about life on the farm in Iowa. I got to know Merlin when he designed and supervised the building of my pool in 2005. We spent a lot of time together then, but our paths did not cross after the follow up. I never forgot him though. To this day, I think of him every time I see my pool. If every man could have the kindness and honesty I received from Merlin, our world be a better place.
To his family: I am so, so sorry for your loss.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all..
