Michael “Mike” Joseph Rudzinski departed this world for the kingdom of Heaven on April 28, 2019 after suffering injuries related to an automobile accident. His salvation and firm faith in our Heavenly Father ultimately gave him peace.
Mike was born to the late Harry and Evelyn Rudzinski in Gary, Indiana on December 8, 1946. He spent his childhood years in Gary as well as Chicago.
Mike enlisted in the Navy on June 9, 1964 in Chicago, IL where he served as a Navy Seal until 1970. While stationed in Pensacola FL, Mike attained a business degree from University of West Florida. After leaving the Navy, he settled in Atlanta, GA where he owned an air freight company for many years. In 2003 he began working as a sales manager for Uptime Electric where he remained until he retired in November 2014. After retirement, he and wife, Anita moved to Naples, FL.
Mike knew and loved his Savior. His continuous smile and immense generosity showed what a kind man he was. He had steadfast love and devotion to his church and Tres Dias.
Mike is survived by his wife of 26 years, Anita Livingston Rudzinski. He is also survived by children, Jerad Stone (wife, Misty) of Hazlehurst, GA and Jada Anastasia (husband, Mark) of Naples, FL; grandsons, Sawyer Schwarz and Skyler Anastasia, of Naples, and Hudson Stone of Hazlehurst, GA. Mike and Anita added a bonus granddaughter, Apollonia (Apple) McCann of Naples, FL.
There will be a celebration of life May 18th, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Living Waters Church, 22100 S. Tamiami Trail, Estero, FL 33928. The family will receive guest from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM.
The family will have a reception following the Celebration at 1812 Harbor Lane Naples, FL 34104.
