Myra Elizabeth Cesario

Myra E. "Sue" Cesario, 76, of Naples, FL, formerly of Burlington, NJ, died on June 19, 2018 following a brief illness. Born February 24, 1942 in Burlington, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Mooney) and Walter Fairchild. Growing up in Burlington, Sue discovered her love of nature. She was passionate about all flora and fauna; loved bird watching and experiencing nature all over the world. Her creative talents grew from her spiritual connection to the world. She wrote poetry; loved putting her ideas down on paper. Her vivid imagination gave her the vision to create art, design and sew clothing and share her zest for life.

She married Tony Cesario in 1986. She loved traveling and cruising; they took many trips together. She loved going to shows and dining out. Tony and Sue became permanent residents of Naples, FL in 1997 though her heart remained in Burlington. When Sue's furry friend, Foxy died, she couldn't bring herself to get another dog, so she got her "puppy time" from the pets of her friends and neighbors.

Sue loved fun and adventure. She and her daughter, April, had great times together including a road trip to New England in the fall; Sue teased April because she slept most of the car ride and missed the "colors". They also traveled to Italy together. Sue shared her love of nature and taught her daughter everything she knows about the human/nature connection.

Known to be an advocate and a positive role model, Sue shared her own struggles in support of many who suffered with substance abuse and mental health problems. She worked as a counselor in the Burlington area for several years. She carried her advocacy with her everywhere.

Sue is survived by her devoted husband of 32 years, Tony Cesario of Naples and her daughter, April Brady of Croydon, PA.

Visiting hours will take place on Sunday, June 24th, 3-5PM at Page Funeral Home, 302 Union Street, Burlington, 08016. Graveside services will be on Monday, June 25th, 12 Noon, at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Burlington.
