Olga Isabel (Alvarez) Fernandez

Olga Isabel Fernandez, 88, of Naples, Florida, retired accountant, died peacefully Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Aston Gardens.

Olga was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Anthony Fernandez, and her sister, Hortensia Silva. She is survived by her son, Antonio R. Fernandez.

Olga was born September 19, 1933, in Havana, Cuba, to Roman Alvarez and Isabel Vila Alvarez. Olga fled Cuba to Spain when Castro came to power before settling in New York in 1961. She happily retired to Naples in 1994. She loved a good laugh, was an avid jigsaw puzzler, and loved to play dominoes and canasta. She was a wonderful cook and loved to host friends and families for holidays and any occasion that anyone considered special.

The visitation will be held on Sunday, July 17, from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples.
