PATRICIA LOUISE BADALUCCO

Patricia Louise (Pushkar) Badalucco, 82, of Naples, Florida handled her illnesses with style and grace as she lived during her lifetime. She died peacefully March 16, 2019 at Avow Hospice, Naples. She was dear daughter of Olga and Stephen Pushkar, Youngstown, Ohio where she was born October 6, 1936. She lived briefly in Farrell, Penn., then grew up in Hubbard, Ohio, where she graduated from Hubbard High School Class of 1954. She attended Youngstown State University. She began a career as a flight attendant with Northwest Airlines, then Delta Airlines, based in Chicago and Detroit. She married Anthony Badalucco of Detroit, September 16, 1972. Pat flew 32 years and retired in 1994. Her long and joyful life brimmed with travel around the world. She loved music and gardening and became an avid golfer. She was an active member of the Garden Club of Dearborn, Mich., and had a greenhouse at her home. For the orchids she lovingly grew, she won the “Horticultural Excellence Award” and many other awards in gardening circles. Pat belonged to the Dearborn Country Club where she was twice winner of the women’s golf club championship.  After moving to Petoskey, Mich., she was a member of the Petoskey Garden Club. She loved being with family and friends. After spending their many winters in Naples,  she relocated with her husband to year-round residency in 2014.  Here, she joined the Moorings Country Club’s 9-Hole League on Fridays. Pat was a caring mother of two sons, Mark and Brian of Michigan, and daughter-in-law Andrea and granddaughter Mia. She leaves beloved brothers Raymond Pushkar and sister-in-law Alice of Washington, DC, Robert Pushkar of Wakefield, Mass., and sister Dolores Sirianni of Ohio. She was special aunt to three lovely nieces, Maggie Berry of New York City, Alexis Valenti of Reading, Mass., and Renee of Ohio. A memorial service will be held at Saint William Catholic Church in Naples, Fla. at a later date to be announced.
