Pamela Leck

Mary Susan Pamela Leck, age 83, long time resident of Ridgefield, Connecticut and Naples, Florida, passed away unexpectedly in Naples, Florida on Tuesday, July 3.  Born in Macau, China, the daughter of the late Oliver Hall and Sue (Soo) Hall, she grew up in Shanghai China, attending British schools there while living under the Republican, Japanese Occupation, and  Communist regimes.  She left for Hong Kong in 1952, where she joined Cathay Pacific Airlines as a flight attendant.  She was a finalist in the Miss Hong Kong beauty pageant in 1954 and met her husband of sixty-two years, Paul Leck, in that city.  After emigrating to the United States in 1956, she worked in the travel industry for many years, including Lindblad Travel of Westport, Connecticut.  A tireless advocate for the disabled, she was also active in community affairs and served as president of the Grande Phoenician condominium board for four years.  Pamela is survived by her husband Paul, sons Gregory and Jeffrey (Genevieve), daughter Sherri, brother James of the United Kingdom, grandchildren Alex, Thomas, Matthew, Analise, and Celine, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held on July 14 at 1 PM at the Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples, FL.
