Former Cape Cod resident Paul E. Studzinski, 82, passed away September 16, 2019, in Naples, FL. A service will be held on Friday, September 20th from 5pm-7pm at Fuller Funeral Home located at 4735 Tamiami Trail East Naples, FL 34112.
Paul was born on May 31st, 1937 in Binghamton, New York to Katherine and Nicholas Studzinski. At the age of 18 Paul joined the U.S Army and was stationed in Stuttgart, Germany where he met warm, loving, Rosemarie who would later become his wife and number one companion throughout his life. He spent 3.5 years in Germany when he was honorably discharged, left briefly, and then came back. The couple was married in 1960, and in 1968, the Studzinski clan, which then had the addition of 2 sons, emigrated to America by way of a 7-day boat journey on the Rotterdam.
Paul's career spanned nearly 37 years at Mercedes-Benz in various roles, his favorite being the office jokester. He was a professional. In 2001, he and Rosemarie built their dream home in Harwich, Massachusetts and retired on the cape. There they enjoyed many wonderful summers together with family and friends. The winters, as he would often point out, were a pain in the ass. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Rosemarie, two sons, Ralph and Michael, and his granddaughters, Kara and Katina. He leaves behind his strength, sharp wit, sense of humor, countless stories we’ll never forget and about one million fly fishing flies in the basement that nobody knows what to do with.
