Philip Joseph De Blasio

Philip Joseph De Blasio, preceded in death by his parents, Saverio De Blasio and Madeline (Pirozzi) De Blasio, born on September 3, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York, who resided in Naples, Florida, went to be with his Lord on July 2, 2017.  He was surrounded by family and friends in his last days at AVOW Hospice in Naples, Florida.  We thank them for their kindness and compassion.  He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Patricia Ann De Blasio; his brother Marco De Blasio and his sister-in-law Trude De Blasio; his stepdaughters Doreen Hughes and Lynda Seblano; his nephews Marc De Blasio and Philip De Blasio; his niece Christel De Blasio and many other family members and friends.  He will be greatly missed by all.  Philip was a scholar, a philosopher, a comedian, a dancer, and the list goes on.  He was a wonderful man who gave of himself generously and wholly.  He showed his love to everyone in many ways and was loved by many.

In lieu of flowers, he requested that donations be made to Alzheimer’s Research in his name.  Arrangements have been made by Fuller Funeral Home www.fullernaples.com.  A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Agnes Catholic Church, located at 7775 Vanderbilt Beach Rd, Naples, Florida (Tel:  239-592-1949) at 11:00 AM, on July 14, 2017.
