Phyllis E. Arthur

 Phyllis Evelyn Arthur (nee Garson)

On Friday November 3, 2017, Phyllis Arthur of Naples, Florida died at the age of 94 years. Phyllis was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba in 1923. She grew up in Kirkland Lake, Ontario and met her husband Alan Arthur while on private nursing duty in Windsor, Ontario. Phyllis and Alan moved from Canada to the US in 1949, settling in Cleveland, Ohio where Alan practiced veterinary medicine for 35 years. They retired to Naples, FL in 1987.
An award winning painter, she was passionate about opera, classic films from the 40s and 50’s, and every dog she encountered.

She is survived by her son, Tony (Carol), her daughter Susan (Paul O’Donnell), her son Kevin (Sharon Payne), five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Alan, and her daughter Kelly.

Private interment will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Columbarium.
