Reynold L. Sheibley “Ren”, of Goodland, Florida passed away on May 20, 2020. He was born on July 9, 1939 in Greenpark, Pennsylvania to parents Charles and Helen (Noll) Sheibley. He retired in 1997 from R.L. Sheibley Construction where he built homes in the Mechanicsburg area for 30 years.
Ren is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Helen (Noll) Sheibley, his brother C. David Sheibley who was killed in Viet Nam, his daughter Sue Ellen Adams, his sister Kay E. Succa, and his brother-in-law Allen Shriver. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Edith “Edie” Harris Sheibley, daughter Jo Ann Mentzer (Phil), son Don Sheibley (Ginger), daughter Lori Clelan (Scott); son-in-law Everett “Ted” Adams; sister Virginia “Ginny” Shriver (Mesa, Arizona) and brother-in-law John E. Succa. His grandchildren Julia Mentzer-Yarlett (Dennis), Heather Mentzer, Lydia Clelan, Ian Clelan (Sadie), Max Clelan and his great grandchildren Jayden Yarlett, Kenzie Yarlett and Griffin Clelan all of Mechanicsburg. As well as several nieces and nephews.
Ren’s interment will take place at E.U.B. Cemetery in Elliotsburg, Pennsylvania at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Mechanicsburg Sportmen’s Association at 493 Sample Bridge Rd, Enola, PA 17025. For online condolences visit www.FullerNaples.com.
