Richard "Dick" Karch, Jr.

Richard "Dick" Karch Jr., age 89 passed away on March 22, 2021 after a struggle with cancer. He was born in  Bronx, NY to Richard and Jean P. Karch.  He grew up in New Jersey where he graduated from North Plainfield High School. It was there he met his wife, Rosemarie, and were married in 1952.

Dick was drafted into the Army in 1952 and stationed in Salzburg, Austria. His wife joined him later in Salzburg where they spent 2 years while he was stationed at Camp Roeder. Their daughter, Roseanne, was also born in Austria. 

Dick was a hard worker and knew how to fix almost anything. His greatest achievement was owning and operating R&R Home Improvements in Beachwood, NJ.

Dick loved his family and is survived by his wife of 69 years Rosemarie Karch, Daughter Roseanne Neff and son Richard J Karch.  He was preceded in death by his son Roy Egon Karch. There are 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in New Jersey. Dick was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
