Ricky Joseph Brown

August 3, 1964 ~ March 11, 2024 (age 59) 59 Years Old

Tribute

Ricky Joseph Brown, born on August 3, 1964, passed away on March 11, 2024. A man of few words, Ricky was best known for his polite and caring demeanor. His stubbornness often concealed a humorous side that only those close to him were privileged to see. Despite his quiet nature, Ricky was a great listener and had a loving heart.

He worked hard his entire life. Entering the construction business at the age of sixteen,  most of his career was as a skilled construction worker and his craftsmanship helped build a lot of Naples. No matter what he did, he impressed everyone with his ability to be diligent, but also to keep a positive attitude.

Among his favorite recreational activities were listening to music, playing his guitar, building model cars and driving RC cars. He enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR and was an incredibly talented billiards champion. These hobbies provided him not only relaxation, but a sense of fulfillment and joy. On the weekends, he would make his routine visits to his mother and daughters’ homes with his cherished pit bull, Thor.

A cherished son, father, father-in-law, grandpa, brother, and uncle. Ricky is survived by his beloved mother, Ruth Papineau, daughters, Stephanie Young, Staci Clark, and Ashley Brown, his son-in-laws Cody Young and Anthony Michael Clark. His four grandchildren, Colton Young, Layla Young, Freya Clark and Ezra Clark. His dear sister, Beckie Brown, and his nieces, Caylee Corey, Aimee Jacobs, Arianna Corey, Brittni LaSala, Hannah Brown, Courtni Bell, and Shelby Brown.

Ricky was predeceased by his father, Joseph Brown Jr., his brother and partner in mischief, Ronald E. Brown, his stepfather, Terrin Papineau (Pop-Pop) and many others.

Through his own life lessons, Ricky taught those around him to love without condition, yet not to be pushed around by people. This balance of affection and assertiveness greatly influenced the lives of those he touched.

His absolute greatest pride and joy was raising his three strong, beautiful, and amazing “Little Biscuits”. His girls were everything to him and they always will be.

His legacy of kindness and humor will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. The wisdom he imparted, the love he shared, and the memories he created will continue to influence the lives of those he knew.

A Memorial service for Ricky will be held on March 17, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Fuller Funeral Home & Cremation Service. All friends, relatives, and acquaintances are welcome to join us in honoring Ricky's life, remembering his love, and celebrating his legacy.
