Robert M Slebodnik

Robert Martin Slebodnik passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 29, 2020. He was born September 19, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan to Martin Slebodnik and Theresa Wojciechowski Slebodnik. Survivors include Kathleen, his wife of 52 years, his sister, Marlene Slebodnik, and several nieces and nephews.
Bob graduated from the University Of Michigan and eagerly awaited the start of football season each fall. He was a true educator and retired from the East Detroit School System after 30 years as a teacher and administrator. After retirement, he enjoyed golf, travel, and his time as Chairman of the Lely Golf Estates MSTU and time spent with friends. A full-time Naples resident since 1987, Bob loved Naples and the life-style it offered.
The family wishes to thank Flore and the staff from Avow Hospice and Delores from Assisting Hands for their loving care and concern during his illness. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 10:00 am at St. Peter's the Apostle Catholic Church.
