Roger William Payne

Roger William Payne, 77, of Boston, MA and Naples, FL, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020. He had been a seasonal resident of Naples since 2015. He was born September 4, 1942 in Bridgewater Somerset, England, the son of Sydney and Emily Mae (née Needs) Payne.

Mr. Payne is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Norma Lucia DeFelice; and his beloved son, Matthew Payne and his wife Jenna of Maui, HI.

Roger had a long career in healthcare management and consulting.  He worked in England and Canada for several large hospitals. While in Canada, Roger obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University in Toronto.

He also worked for PEAT, MARWICK as a consultant where he became a partner before starting his own consulting business, Tiverton Consulting Group, in 1990.

In 2000, he formed LEADERS FOR TODAY, an interim healthcare placement firm, with two partners.  The company was subsequently sold in 2018 to a large company located in California.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples.
