Ruth Arety (Ramandanes) Leonardi

Ruth Arety Leonardi, 93, of Naples, FL, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019. Formerly of Erie, PA, she had been a Naples resident since 1995. She was born May 22, 1926 in Erie, PA, the daughter of Charles and Emma (née Brummer) Ramandanes.

A loving mother and homemaker, Ruth and her husband Joseph moved to Florida in 1995 to get away from the cold winters on Lake Erie and be closer to their grandchildren.  Being the wife of a Horticulturist, she loved gardening and enjoyed the outdoors.  Ruth was also very involved with her church. Throughout the years, she grew to know many of the members and loved spending time with them.

Mrs. Leonardi is survived by her son, Mark J. (Rebecca) Leonardi of Naples, FL; and four grandchildren, Mitchel, Ian, Jake and Iza; sister Janet Lindstrom and her two nieces, Jennifer Lindstrom and Maren Lindstrom.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Francis Leonardi in 2012.

A memorial service is being scheduled and will be announced.
