Stephen E. Grove

Stephen E Grove  “Steve” 71, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 9:29 PM – Sunday, September 19, 2021 at NCH Baker Hospital.
Celebration of Life will be held on October 10th at  South Street Grill on 1410 Pine Ridge Rd Ste, 4, Naples, Fl., from 1 to 4 pm.  In loving memory of Steve, Family,.  Arrangements are under the care of the Fuller Funeral Home .  The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at http://www.fullernaples.com Naples, FL.

Celebration of life in Newton will be held on  Saturday October 23rd from 1-5 pm at the KC Hall in Newton, IL.

Stephen E Grove , better known as Steve  was born on July 15 1950, in Effingham , Illinois , the son of Robert Glenn and Melba Eileen (Lewis) Grove.  He  married Diane Laugel  on November 28, 1987.
Steve worked at Golden Gate Well drilling for the last 35 years.
Steve  enjoyed riding his Harley and watching baseball, coaching little league and travel ball. He also liked Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas when he could spend quality time with his family especially his  grandchildren.
Steve is survived by: Children – Craig, Sherri, Robert and Stephen, his father Robert Glen Grove of Newton, Illinois
Grandchildren –  Zack, Moriah, Tristan, Keith, Ryan, Ian, Elisabeth and Aron. Great Grandchildren - Charlie and Lucy  
Siblings- Cindy Renolds and Sara Tarr An abundance of loved nieces and nephews  

Steve  was preceded in death by his mother, his brother Ronald “Toad” Grove, and his sisters Linda Briggs and Becky Lee McCrary.
