Susan Tyler

Susan P. Tyler 83 of Naples, Fl. Passed away Wednesday June 15. Born at home in Saginaw, MI to Fritz and Francis Goebel Jr. Susan graduated from Ottawa Hills High School Grand Rapids, MI and attended Michigan State University, then receiving her master’s degree from Western Michigan University. Most of her working career was as an elementary school teacher, she also worked as a custom seamstress for many years. Susan was a lifelong member of Delta Gamma Sorority a member of New Comers and the Sandollars of Naples. Susan enjoyed hot air ballooning, traveling to Europe, fall trips to Michigan, boating and cooking. She is preceded in death by her parents. Surviving is her longtime companion Thomas Biggs, children Allison Shelton, Stuart Boesch, Eric Boesch, her brother Arthur Fritz Goebel, sister Doris Bernard, one grandson Jacob Boesch and numerous nephews and nieces. A memorial gathering will be held Friday June 24, at Fuller Funeral Home 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples, Florida 34109 from 1-3pm.
