Tamera Le Matthews

It is with great sadness that Tammie passed away peacefully on April 16th after a three year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.  Tammie was preceded in death by her father and maternal and paternal grandparents.  She is survived by her husband and best friend of 40 years, Bob; daughter, Andrea; son, Butch; 4 stepdaughters, Chandra, Yvette, Beth, and Jenny; her mother, Shirley; sister, Debbie; and brother, Kevin. She also was the proud grandma of nine grandchildren who were very special to her.

Tammie was a proud veteran of the U. S. Navy. Her career span was large and impressive to include Naval Service and Civil Service.  Her next career adventure took her skills to the Islands where she was the Executive Director of the tourism association in St. Croix in the U. S. Virgin Islands. Her life in Naples included Executive Director of the Hotel Association, President of the Collier Tourism Association and ultimately owner and president of Tamera Le Marketing, COO of the Choice Hotel Owners Association where she represented over 3000 Choice Hotels.

Tammie will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Her radiant smile, kind demeanor and beauty that radiated from the inside out will leave a huge void with her family and friends.
