Teresa L. Vasil

Teresa L. Vasil, 87, died June 28, 2017 in Naples, FL after a brief illness. Born in Waterbury, CT, she lived there, in New Britain and Kensington, all located in Central Connecticut for over 60 years.

Teresa was a graduate of Mary Immaculate Academy in New Britain, CT and a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and choir in Kensington, CT for many years. Most recently, she resided at Lely Palms in Naples, FL where she occasionally played the organ for services there.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Donald, Sr.; sons, Donald, Jr. and his wife, Virginia; Peter and his wife, Linda of Laconia, NH; Robert and his wife, Rosemary of Berlin, CT; and James of Berlin, CT; seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

A memorial mass at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church will be celebrated in her honor later this month. A private committal ceremony at St. Peter’s Columbarium will follow.
