Thomas Richard Egan

Thomas Richard Egan, 80, of Naples, Florida passed peacefully at home Monday, March 19, 2018 with the compassionate care of Vitas Hospice surrounded by his loving family.  Thomas was born February 5, 1938 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, the eldest son of the late Verna (Bonk) Egan.

Thomas worked for Hiram Walkers for twenty-five years and retired as the Deputy Director of Marketing for the State of Michigan Lottery.  He loved to play golf and tend his flower garden but most of all he found comfort and took great pride in his home and family.  

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Geraldine (Mosser) Egan; his brother, Gerald Egan; his loving and caring children, daughters, Constance (Dave) Hodare, Shelley Egan, Maralisa (Jim) Addis, and son, Christopher (Leanne) Egan; beautiful granddaughters, Madison, Arianna and Athenna; nieces and nephew, Carrie, Amy, and Paul. He will be greatly missed by many friends, neighbors and extended family.

A celebration of Thomas' life, guidance and love will be held on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 at 12 noon at Fuller Funeral Home, 4735 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, Florida. 34112.  A celebration of life will also be held in Windsor, Ontario on July 7, 2018 with details to follow.
