Tristan Anne Burfield

Tristan, beloved daughter of Mark F. and Elise C. Burfield; cherished sister of Chandler L. and Taylor S. Burfield; adored granddaughter of Joanne G. Curlee, Thomas L. Holling, the late Shelby H. Curlee IV, Cathereen H. and Harold W. George, and Leslie F. Burfield; and partner in love and life Christopher Morris.

Tristan was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised in sunny Naples, Florida where she attended Community School of Naples. She was known throughout the community as a celebrated artist, a decorated and determined swimming, track, and cross country athlete, and an accomplished scholar. She graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a B. S. in Marketing where she was on the University Dean’s List and a member of the Leadership and Honors Society. Tristan worked at Hertz Global Headquarters in Marketing as a Social Media Specialist. Her 26 years were filled with adventure, curiosity, passion and unconditional friendship. Her smile, kindness and gentle spirit will be missed by all that knew and loved her. 

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community School of Naples Art Department or the charity of your choice.
