Van "Lanny" Lansing Swift, Jr.

Van Lansing Swift, Jr. (Lanny) passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018.  He was born October 20, 1967 in Naples and was a 1985 graduate of Barron Collier High School. After graduating he assisted in the construction of Swift Oil Change on Pine Ridge Road and went into business with his family.  Lanny was an excellent small engine mechanic, participated in the Swamp Buggy Races in the late 80’s and early 90’s and meticulously restored several antique cars. Lanny was preceded in death by his parents Van Lansing Swift, Sr. and Barbara Jo Swift.  He is survived by his brother Robert (Mary Ellen) Swift, sister Jennifer (Joe) Gulotta, niece Haley, nephew Andrew and his dear friend Teresa. Services will be held Thursday, June 14 from 5:00-7:00 at Fuller Funeral Home 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples, FL 34109.
