Winfield Scott "Bud" Bonham passed to his heavenly home on Monday, May 31, 2021. Born on May 11, 1928 in Shiloh, NJ, he was the son of the late Clarkson and Elizabeth (Harris) Bonham. Growing up in Shiloh, he enjoyed playing baseball and briefly played in a minor league in Enterprise, Alabama. He is a 1946 graduate of Bridgeton High School and played on the football team. He was drafted into the army in 1951, served in the Korean war and honorably discharged in 1956. In addition to his wife Gail of 42 years, Scott is survived by his brother-in-law, William Wilkers (Barbara), five nieces and two nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Jean Bonham Lewis and brother-in-law, Philip Lewis, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raymond and Virginia Wilkers. Scott is a member of Seagate Baptist Church in Naples, Florida. He loved the Lord and had a heart for Missionaries traveling to many places with a team and sharing his faith. He was also part of a group who led a weekly bible study with juveniles at the local prison. Other activites he enjoyed were sport cars and golf. There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 6:00 pm at Seagate Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Seagate Baptist Church Building Fund,1010 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples.
