Yolanda "Mama" Torriente

Yolanda (Mama) Torriente passed away in Royal Palm Beach, Florida the 30th of May 2022 at the age of 95. 

Yolanda was born in Havana, Cuba on July 12, 1926 to Delio Silva, a Judge in the Cuban Supreme Court and Cuba Silva, one of the first female Pharmacist in Cuba.

Yolanda was blessed with a lovely family, she was preceded in death by her four siblings Carmen, Delio, Cuba, and Tulio, also by her husband, Rene and daughter, Yolanda (Nagi). She is survived by son Rene (Elena) and grandchildren Natalie (Ryan), Michael (Jessica), and Mark, step-grandchildren, Frankie (Helen) and Amy (George), great grandchildren, Tyler (Emma), Ethan, Kayla, Connor, CJ, Cohen, and Brynlee, step-great grandchildren, Frankie, Rosie, Rocco, and Nolan. Yolanda is also Survived by brother-in-law, Rogelio Errotaberea. 

Yolanda was a music teacher until 1962 when she moved to the United States. She was an educator at heart, at the age of 36 Yolanda worked diligently to learn English. She was an avid reader. She liked traveling, watching soap operas, completing crossword puzzles, and watching game shows. Left with decades of fond and colorful memories are her nieces and nephews. 

The visitation will be held at Fuller Funeral Home at 1625 Pine Ridge Road in Naples, Florida on Saturday June 4, 2022 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
