Carole Ann Dunstan was born in Bayonne, NJ in 1942. Her father was Charles V. McGuire; her mother was Olga McGuire (nee Petronick). She was married to William O. Dunstan Jr. in Bayonne in 1959. She died on April 22, 2021 at NCH Baker with her husband at her side. Carole was preceded by her son William in 2011. Surviving is her husband William, two daughters Barbara Ann Benko of St. Augustine, Fl. and Carole Renee Hasz of Piscataway, NJ. She has three grandchildren; Jimmy, Bryan, and Renee. She was a retired supervisor from AT&T. She had various jobs including a guide at Washington’s Headquarters in Morristown, NJ. She was also an investigator for Brownstone Investigations. Carole attended Roanoke College and NJ University. She graduated in 2014 from the Collier County Sheriff’s Office Citizen’s Academy and in 2015 from the Advanced Citizen’s Academy. She was a volunteer for Hospice in NJ. She received two awards for her service of over 25 years. One in 1997 from the Governor of New Jersey’s office. The other award was from Riverside Hospice. She moved to Ave Maria, Fl. in July of 2010 where she continued to work with her husband. She enjoyed the parks and wildlife in particular the yellow bodied hawks. She will be buried next to her son at Palm Royale Cemetery in Naples, Fl. A mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday April 27th. 10am Ave Maria Parish, followed by burial next to her son William.
