Catherine D. "Kay" (DeCesare) Reid

Catherine “Kay” Reid, 93, died on August 12, 2022.  The daughter of Anthony DeCesare and Jean (née Testa) DeCesare, she was born in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area.  She graduated from Turtle Creek, PA, High School.

Following high school, Kay was employed by Bell Telephone until her retirement in 1986.  Upon retirement, she and Joe traveled throughout the world.

In 1997 the couple moved to Naples, Florida, buying a home in Calusa Bay.  Kay was a devoted Roman Catholic who was involved in volunteer work for St. John the Evangelist Church in Naples.

Mrs. Reid leaves behind nieces and nephews-in-law, Marion (Ernie) Dozzi of Pawleys Island, SC, and Marie (Jim) Novotny, of Pittsburgh, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 17 at 11:00 AM, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Avenue North, Naples.  Entombment will follow in Naples Memorial Gardens.
