Edward Harold "Ed" McMann

On Saturday, January 16, 2021, Edward Harold McMann, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away at the age of 81.  

Edward "Ed" was born on December 15,1939 in Weymouth MA, the son of Harold and Angela (née Serroni) McMann. He was a graduate of Weymouth High School. He resided in Quincy and was a member of the Labors Union Local 133 in construction for over 60 years.  

Ed was married for 49 years to Rosemarie (née Kellstrand). They together raise one daughter,  Kelli McMann Russo and resided in Brockton, MA for 42 years until relocating to Naples Florida in 2014.

Eddie or Ed, as his family and close friends like to call him, had quite the passion for cars and detailing.  He loved to be outside and took great pride in his home and yard.  He enjoyed old movies, a good meal, spending time with family and friends and of course spending time at his local hang out the Track Side Donuts Shop.  Ed was always scratching lottery tickets and never turned down the chance to go to a casino to play the slots. You would often find him tinkering in his garage and he loved to sit and have a beer or glass of wine there with his neighborhood friends. Ed was always the first to lend a friendly hand or help someone out.

Ed was preceded in death by his only brother William Donald McMann, formerly of Hanover, Naples and Marco Island; and his nephew, William Joel McMann formerly of Hanover, Marco Island and Lyndhurst, NJ.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rosemarie McMann; daughter Kelli (Greg) Russo; grandson, Nick; granddaughter, Bella (Tyler) Gluvna; grand-dog, Molly; niece, Rita McMann; and great nephew, William McMann of Lyndhurst NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 7775 Vanderbilt Beach Road, Naples, FL 34120.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis , TN 38105.
