Dr. Richard Leonard Dallow of Naples, Florida, formerly of Winchester and Osterville, Massachusetts, passed away at home on January 8, 2022. Richard was born in Covington, Kentucky on May 4th, 1940. He attended Princeton University and Columbia University Medical School, followed by medical internship at the University of California San Francisco, ophthalmologic residency at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Harvard Medical School, and neurology fellowship at Maida Vale Medical Centre in London, England. An accomplished and dedicated physician and clinical professor at Harvard Medical School, Richard authored over 60 scientific articles, 2 books, contributed several chapters to the Harvard textbook of ophthalmology, and lectured all over the world. His personal passions included international travel, music, art and architecture. He leaves his wife of 56 years, Lois, daughter Katherine, son-in-law Jeff, and beloved grandchildren Connor and Taylor of Dover, Massachusetts. Memorial services will be private.
