I don’t think I’ll ever meet another person like Annette Burrier. At The Marco Players, not only was she Beverly’s mom—she was everybody’s stage mom. Our own Momma Rose. I looked forward to getting a hug from her at every rehearsal. (If you brought her cookies or a donut, the hug was just a little bit tighter.) She would praise you to high heaven if she thought you did a good job, but she was no pushover. If you didn’t deliver, you’d hear about it.
Momma believed in working hard and playing hard—and you’d have a hard time keeping up with her either way. I’ll miss her banter, her enthusiasm, her hilarious wit, her wisdom, her smile, and of course her hugs. The world is a better place because Momma Rose was in it. I love you, Momma.

We only knew her for a few years but she left her mark on our lives. We will miss her happy smile and laugh as we remember our time with her.
