My condolences to your family on Art's passing. I worked under Art in the Production Department of the Syracuse Newspapers for many years. He afforded me the opportunities to grow within the department and in life as well. He was a good boss to many people and he was greatly missed when he retired. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Dear Sandy,
We just read about Art's passing today. As you know, he was my closest boyhood friend when we lived on the north side of Syracuse, and we stayed in touch intermittently throughout our lives. Please know that you and your children are in our prayers, and that Art is at peace. Please call if there is anything Shirley or I can do.
