Robert William “Bob” Allberry, 74, of Naples, FL and Elkhart, IN entered into his eternal life on Monday, April 24, 2017 at Naples Community Hospital. Born April 29, 1943 in Beverly, OH to James and Elsie (Tanner) Allberry, Bob attended Goshen High School and formerly owned Scotts IGA in Goshen, IN.

He married A. Joan (Baer) in Goshen on November 4, 1977. Bob and Joan formerly co-owned The Inn Between Restaurant, New Paris, IN; Bobby Jo's Party Shoppe; and Dandino's Restaurant in Goshen. Bob loved Dandino's and enjoyed the restaurant business for 38 years. He loved cooking, food prep, catering, bartending, coming up with new ideas for specials and the many friendships he formed with customers and employees that lasted a lifetime.

He had a private pilot’s license. Bob owned a Mooney and Cessna and loved flying for many years and friendships with his flying buddies. Bob loved spending the winter months in Naples, FL soaking up the rays.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; children, Todd (Trina) Allberry of Masaryktown, FL; Tony Allberry of Bristol, IN; and Angela, (Curtis Jason) Yoder of Shipshewana, IN; grandsons, Tyler Allberry of Tampa, FL; Lucas Allberry of Bristol, IN; step grandson, Chad Troyer of Tampa, FL; sister, Ruth McClung of Newark, OH; brother, Albert (Phyllis) Allberry of Daytona Beach, FL; half-sisters, Debbie Dixon and Patty Leach of OH; and stepbrother, Ted Modem of CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, half-sister and granddaughter.

Bob was a kind and gentle man who would help anyone out. It was his unconditional love and spirit that will be remembered by many who crossed his path. As per Bob's wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of his life in Goshen, IN to be announced.
