I met Bob a couple of times during the years I worked with Joel and Susan. On both occasions I was very impressed by his friendliness and obvious care for others. I'm sure that he will be greatly missed, and my sympathy and prayers go out for each member of his family.

Dear Joey,
Wished I could have been there with you today but was with you in spirit. Bob was a wonderful person and the two of you had a wonderful marriage. Ever time I would call your house, he would ask if I wanted to speak to his bride. Bob loved you very much and it was very obvious to me.
Love you always,
Mary

So sorry for you loss auntie Joey and all family and friends that are hurting. It's hard to know where to start when talking about Uncle Bob. What a wonderful man. From an early age it was always a treat to be able to go to the big cities to stay at our auntie Joey & Uncle Bob's house. He was always a great host then and later in life as a tour guide in Naples. Over the years he had so many passions including collecting items, (often many of the same thing) in case one were to get lost or broken he said. Reading was a passion of his as well as in many of our opinion's " one of the greatest story tellers of all time." The stories may have changed a few times over the years and later in life he often counted on his loving wife to help him the details. They might have disagreed here but the punch lines were always told with the same passion followed by his great smile! Uncle Bob, you lived a great life. I am grateful to have known you for most of my life. Thank you for taking the time to wait for us at the top and bottom of escalators, get the basement ready for us to stay in while we visited in White Bear Lake, and many more memories. I think the biggest thing I will always remember is that you always wanted to make time for everyone and showed interest in all of our lives. We are all hurting here and wish we had you longer. You have a great big family that has always loved you and always will.

My Wonderful Brother in Law Bob, you were a rock in my life and kind, loving gentle soul, who I loved so much, From the time I was a little kid I spent endless time with Joey and Bob and the family, they were my family too, always treated me so special, then when i had my own kids our family spent endless time with them in White Bear Lake and they were the best at showing us a wonderful time, not to forget the times I spent in Texas with you, then in later years Dan and I had so much fun traveling with the two of you from Europe to our last Mystery Trip with the Bank this last October, and all the wonderful times we spent with you in Florida, You will be missed Bob, but we will carry you always in our Hearts. Love Jeanie and Dan

Bob was a dedicated and intense employee who had been grounded in the evolution of the rail industry as it moved from regulated to deregulated. He was always cordial and looking for ways to help others and the process. Rest In Peace! Bill DeWitt

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.
