Anne T. Ratliff

Anne T. Ratliff, a lovely, sweet and gracious woman, passed away peacefully in her Naples, Florida home at the age of 96. The daughter of Ferdinand Tannenbaum, a prominent New York City tax attorney, she graduated from Vassar College.
She married Eugene F. Ratliff in 1946, and they moved to Indianapolis where her husband had a highly successful career with Eli Lilly and Company, and the couple raised three children. The family lived in Indianapolis for more than 30 years, punctuated by a two year stint in London, England in the early 1960s. Mrs. Ratliff enjoyed playing golf and volunteered at Indianapolis Methodist Hospital. In the 1970s, the Ratliffs moved to Naples, Florida, where Eugene Ratliff passed away in 2010.
Anne Ratliff is survived by her three children, Elizabeth Wurzel, Christine Kenady and Richard Ratliff; a daughter in law, Lindsay Olson; grandchildren: Ady and Daniel Walker, Kirsten and Marcus Blanks, Samuel and Sarah Kenady, Anne and Kevin Smith, Stephen Suarez and Laura Sheridan, Allison Wurzel, Julie Wurzel, and David Wurzel; and great grandchildren: Sebastian and Sasha Blanks, Henry and Lola Walker, Hank Suarez, Cooper Kenady, Wesley Smith and Paxton Wurzel. Anne Ratliff also was cared for by Dr. Gary Parsons, Nurse Sandy Landers, and a fine team of attendants from A Nursing Connection.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Trinity by the Cove Episcopal Church in Port Royal, Naples, Florida.
